The Placer Fountain takes its name from the ancient method of using water to excavate, concentrate, and recover minerals like gold from alluvial or placer deposits.
The top reservoir fills with water, producing glints of light before following the extruded channel and dropping into the porthole.
The volume and sound of the Placer Fountain can be modulated depending on how much water is added to the basin.
